Hydrocarbon Waste Management Hydrocarbon or Oil wastes that contaminate soil or water is coming from pipelines, sludge of oil drilling, oil spill from oil tankers, bombing oil storage tanks, buried holding tanks and many accidental may cause oil spill.

Decontamination of oil wastes could be achieved through two main methods
- • Bioremediation or decontamination of soil polluted by organic matter coming from the spilling of pipelines underground buried takers and the contamination of sea shore • Recycling oil wastes for high oil contamination, soil or water

Microbiological treatment
- The microbiological treatment is the degradation of polluting substances through selected bacteria and enzymes that enhance the natural degrading capacity of the soil, the microbiological treatment can be considered the most practical and economical, it turns the organic biodegradable pollutants into bacterial biomass nontoxic compounds deriving from bacterial catabolism as carbon dioxide, methane, water etc…

Application of Eco-Bio products
- The application of the eco-bio products could be done in three ways: • In site: When the soil remains in the same place and the treatment is done putting the product into the soil. This is done when the pollution is not very deep (max 1 mt deep) and the product is diluted in water and put into the ground with a pneumatic system • On site: When the soil is removed and put in a pile and the products are added to the pile. After the treatment and the effect of the products the soil is placed its original site • Off site: When the soil is removed and carried to special areas for the treatment. This is done when the polluted area has to be used urgently It is important to keep a good aeration and humidity, a balanced ratio among the nutrients and organic substances in order to prevent extreme conditions of pH and temperature.

Ecobioproducts
- POLYZYMES PETROL POLYZYMES P POLYZYMES NP Application Prepare warm water (35º -40º C) 100 liters water. • Dilute POLYZYMES NP: 5 kg in 50 liters water • Dilute POLYZYMES P: 5 kg in other containers 50 liters water. • Dilute 500 ml (½ liter) in 50 liter water. • Fill tank 300 liters water. • Add the diluted POLYZYMES NP (50 liters) in the tank 300 liters. • Add the diluted POLYZYMES P (50 liters) to 300 liters. • Add the diluted BALSAM (500 ml) in 50 lit into the 300 lit tank. • Mix well the products in the container tank 300 lit. • Spray the solution on polluted soil. • Mix the polluted soil using disc harrow or rototiller Test weekly the percent of biodegradation for final result RESULTS After four weeks of treatment a reduction of 30% of Hydrocarbon was achieved ,70% of reduction after 8 weeks Treated soil after 8 weeks
